James "Jim" Gerald Pittman Jr.,

James “Jim” Gerald Pittman Jr., 67, of Concord, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at his residence.

Jim was born on November 28, 1955 in Alpena Michigan. He was a cherished son of June Marie Lyons Pittman and the late James Gerald Pittman Sr.

As a young man Jim enlisted into the military and joined the Coast Guard. He spent his career working 30 years for Queen City Plastics. Jim later enjoyed becoming a mobile D.J. Jim was very active in church and had attended McGill Baptist Church and Parkwood Baptist Church. He was a Greenlight diecast distributer and collected POPS. Jim had a passion for helping others and volunteered for CVAN for many years. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Becky Clemons Pittman; sons, James Gerald Pittman III (Emily) and Samuel Scott Pittman; Grandchildren, Hunter, Gracie, and Evelyn Pittman; god-daughter, Celine Jones (Brandon), his mother, June Marie Lyons Pittman and brother, John Richard “J.R” Pittman (Deb).

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Grandview Memorial Park in Rock Hill, SC with Rev. Michael Waters officiating.
