Jamie Lynne (Wilhoit) Cook

Jamie Lynne Wilhoit Cook, 56 years old, of Landis, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 14, 2023.  Jamie was born on March 17, 1967, in Rowan County, to the late Grady and Brenda Medley Wilhoit.

Jamie would help anyone in need.  To her, family was very important, especially her grandchildren who were the love of her life.  She loved to cook and feed everyone, going to the beach, being outdoors watching the birds and the wildlife, and loved the cold weather and snow.

Jamie was predeceased by her parents Grady and Brenda Wilhoit; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Cook-Krider and her nephew, Harrison Wilhoit and her furbaby Brownie.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 25 years, Bryan Cook; her daughter, Tiffany Lynne Cook and her fiancé Davey Musselwhite; her stepdaughters, Brittany and Ashley Cook; her grandchildren, Rayen Reneaujacobs, Scarlett Musselwhite, Daylen Reneaujacobs, and Luke Musselwhite; her brothers, Rodney Wilhoit and Grady Wilhoit and his wife Cynthia; her sisters, Crystal Chen and her husband Hue and Pam Stiller; and her furbaby, Trouble.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 1-3pm at Whitley’s Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove at 3:30pm, officiated by Rev. David Franks.
