Obituary: Jamie Dolan McLaurin, 38, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 in Knoxville. Jamie was born August 24, 1973 in Stanly County to Dolan and Sylvia Claudette Moyle McLaurin. Survivors include in addition to his parents, a brother, Brian Maxton McLaurin and his wife, Sarah Ann McLaurin of El Paso, TX; a sister, Earlymar Fridel and her husband, Richard of Nabasota, TX; five nieces and one nephew, Grace McLaurin, Kael McLaurin, Jamee Fridel, Eran Fridel, Stephanie Fridel and Reece Fridel; and his girlfriend, Angela Wilson. Jamie was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Daniel McLaurin and Randy Claude McLaurin. A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 2, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Craig Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
