Jane Littlejohn

Obituary: Jane Vernell Short Littlejohn, age 75, quietly passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. She spent her last days peacefully at Catawba Regional Hospice House in Newton, NC. Originally of Kings Mountain NC, she resided in Charlotte and Concord, NC during her adult years. Mrs. Littlejohn is survived by her four children; two sons, John C. Littlejohn (Tammy) of Locust NC, William Littlejohn (Tammy) of Charlotte NC, and two daughters, Jane Hanvey of Greenville SC, and Rhonda Gailes of Blowing Rock NC. Additionally, she is survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Littlejohn will be laid to rest at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain, NC. A graveside service is planned for Saturday, January 16th at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift to the memory of Jane S. Littlejohn can be made to Lakewood Care Center, P.O.
