Janet Allene Bible

Janet Allene Bible, 77, of China Grove, NC, formerly of Coldwater, Michigan passed away peacefully at home June 5, 2021 after a period of declining health. Born February 28, 1944 in Battle Creek, MI, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Theta Arlene Knapp Walker.

Janet attended church at First United Methodist Church in Landis. She liked auto racing, planting flowers, gardening, and watching her afternoon soap operas. She loved the beach, but perhaps more than anything she loved her family.

Janet is survived by her son Drew (Deanna) Bible of Landis, NC; her grandchildren, Zackory Sherman, Brendan (Ashlee) Bible, and Ayden Bible; and her sister, Virginia (Lou) Brassil.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Bible; her sister Beverly Coats; and her brothers Edward Walker and Lawrence “Butch” Walker.

A memorial visitation to honor Janet’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Dutcher Funeral Home, 440 W Chicago St, Coldwater, MI from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in West Girard Cemetery.
