Janet Teresa (Watford) Dalton

Janet Teresa Watford Dalton, 59, of Kannapolis, NC passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 5, 2022 at her sister’s residence.

Janet was born August 11, 1962 in Darlington County, S.C. a daughter of the late Louis and Helen Dora Kennedy Watford. She was also preceded in by her husband, Jim Wayne Dalton on April 18, 2010.

Janet was of the Baptist Faith. She was employed at Wal-Mart of Kannapolis as a stocker. She was an avid cat lover and enjoyed fishing and wine. She dearly loved her family.

The family will have a service at a later date.

Survivors include a daughter, Wendy Dalton of Kannapolis, four sisters; Mary Geneva Johnson and husband Richard of Bolivia, NC., Carolyn O’Neal of Kannapolis, Sherry McGee and husband James of China Grove and Kathy Campbell of China Grove.

She is also survived by two brothers David Watson and wife Joy of Hartsville, S.C., Louis Watson and wife Pam of China Grove along with a grandson Landon McGee.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Faithful Friends, 220 Grace Church Rd, Salisbury, NC 28147.
