Janet Carol Guzik

April 2, 1957 — January 14, 2025

Janet Carol Guzik, 67, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, in the comfort of her home. She was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love, and her presence will always be cherished by those who were fortunate to know her.

Born on April 2, 1957, to Penelope and Donald Guzik, Jan was the embodiment of compassion. She was the light in every room, the steady presence that others could always rely on, and the warmth that filled the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her life was defined by her immense generosity and her genuine kindness. Those who met her knew she had a heart of gold, always selflessly giving to others, making them feel seen, heard, and valued.

Jan was beautiful inside and out, with a spirit that radiated kindness and love. She touched every soul she encountered, always lifting others up, making sure no one ever felt inadequate or unimportant. To her family and friends, she was an irreplaceable source of strength and love, a constant reminder of the power of compassion and selflessness.

She is survived by her beloved children, Danielle Winkler, Craig Gorewitz Jr., and Tara Keiser; her grandchildren, Lily, Jackson, Caleb, Tanner, Mason, Grace, Riley, Blake, and Parker; her loving sister, Gwen Dropps, and her brother, Don Guzik; her extended children Aaron Winkler, James Keiser, and Hannah Gorewitz, as well as a wide circle of lifelong friends, all of whom were blessed to have known her. Jan’s love for her family was boundless, and her devotion to them never wavered.

Jan spent many years fighting a difficult battle, but she never gave up. Her resilience, strength, and dedication to her loved ones were unmatched. She fought not only for herself but for her children and those she cared about deeply. Her enduring love and strength will live on in all who knew her.

In her final moments, she was at peace, surrounded with nothing but love. Though we grieve her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is forever in our hearts, and in her family's hearts, forever in 3's, forever in peace.

A private celebration of Jan’s life will be held, where her family will gather to honor her memory and the remarkable woman she was.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests monetary donations to help with cremation services and household bills, as Danielle and Aaron have been devoted caretakers and would deeply appreciate time to cope and heal.
