Janette Cauble Seymour

Obituary: Janette Cauble Seymour, 89, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House following a period of declining health. She was born July 12, 1927 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late Jacob Monroe Cauble and Esther Gertrude Brady Cauble. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Seymour on January 11, 1997, and a sister, Margaret Cauble McFalls. Janette was employed at Cannon Mills Plant #1 towel department for thirty years and later at the cafeteria of Kannapolis Middle School for fifteen years. She enjoyed watching and feeding her birds, but most importantly loving and nurturing her family. Survivors include one son, Bobby Seymour and wife Chris of Kannapolis, four daughters; Elaine Yow of Kannapolis, Donnie Seymour of Concord, Terry Barringer and husband Ed of Concord, and Star Seymour Courtright of Duncan, S.C. She is also survived by one brother, Rufus Monroe Cauble, and two sisters, Mary Ella Cauble Hammonds and Betty Lou Cauble Hubbard. Eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel conducted by Pastor Johnny Boggs. Entombment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon Wednesday prior to the service.
