Jason Ray Sechler

Obituary: Salisbury, NC- Jason Ray Sechler, age 29, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 21, 2010 on arrival at Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, NC. He was born August 17, 1980 in Cabarrus County, NC, the son of Michael R. Sechler and Annette Chapman Sechler. He was educated in the Rowan County Schools and Rowan Cabarrus Community College. He was employed as a plumber with Brown Plumbing of Salisbury, NC for several years. He is remembered as a man who like to hunt, fish, and watch NFL football. He also enjoyed NASCAR events, the Carolina Tarheels, drawing, and painting. He had a special passion to collect arrowheads. He is preceded in death by two grandparents, Hazel Morris Chapman and James Ray Sechler; and an uncle Dennis Scott Sechler. The funeral service will be 2:30 P.M. Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. James Pauley. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home, Kannapolis, NC. Survivors include his children, Damian Sechler, Destin Sechler, and Braydon Sechler, all of Salisbury, NC; his mother, Annette Chapman Sechler & husband, Bruce of Salisbury, NC; his father, Michael Ray Sechler & step-mother, April Salisbury, NC; His brothers, Brent Chapman of Salisbury, NC and Rocky Sechler of Rockwell, NC; his step-brother, Jacob McCora of Salisbury, NC; His grandparents, David and Lucille Chapman of Kannapolis, NC and Bob and Linda Brown of Salisbury, NC; his step-grandmother, Billie Sprinkle.
