Jasper Boyd Starnes, Jr.

Obituary: Jasper "Boyd" Starnes, Jr., age 65, of Concord died Wed. Nov. 17, 2010 at Universal Health Care Concord after a period of declining health. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Boyd was born Jan. 13, 1945 in Iredell Co. to the late Jasper Starnes, Jr. and Margaret Morrow Starnes. He was a life long area resident and had been an auto parts delivery person for Crown Honda in Charlotte. Boyd was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Bradshaw. Boyd is survived by his wife, Virginia Triplett Starnes of the home, his daughter, Angela Starnes Ritchie of China Grove, his son, Jarrod Greg Starnes of Charlotte, also 5 stepchildren and a grandson, Brandon Lee Holmes. He is survived by 2 brothers, Don Starnes of Kannapolis and Darryl Starnes of Rockwell and a sister, Mildred Winecoff, of Wilmington, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
