Jean Winifred (Mclain) Karriker

Jean Winifred McLain Karriker, 94, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

Jean was born on November 6, 1929 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Roscoe McLain and Wilma Price McLain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Henry Leon Karriker; brother, Jim McLain; sister, Joyce Freeze, and a grandson, Dustin Karriker.

Jean worked as the secretary for K&W Cafeteria in Kannapolis prior to her retirement. She was an avid reader and loved eating chocolate. She will be dearly missed by all.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Donald (Patty) Karriker, Terry (Trudy) Karriker, and Brian (Kimberly) Karriker; four grandchildren, Elisha Thompson, Elizabeth Lauver, Samantha Karriker, and Micaela Karriker; and five great-grandchildren.
