Jean Elizabeth Eubanks Ward

Obituary: Jean Elizabeth Eubanks Ward, 77 of Supply NC died Thursday, June 25 at her home. Her death was unexpected. Her family will receive friends at Whitley's Funeral Home (today) Sunday, June 28 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM and then hold a graveside service at 3:30 PM Sunday at Carolina Memorial Park with Rev. Anthony Hall officiating. Jean was born February 4, 1938 in Kannapolis NC, a daughter of the late Baxter and Winnie Eubanks. While Jean was in declining health for the latter years of her life she still had a zest for living. She enjoyed gardening, the beach, mountains, and spent most of her life as a homemaker. Her love for God, Gospel Music, and her cat Mimi is what carried her through her last days. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Ward in 2006, her son Jeff Dellinger in 1998, her brother, Neal Eubanks and her sister, Nadine Eberhardt. Those left to cherish her memory include 4 children; her sons, Randy Dellinger and Kenneth Dellinger, both of Supply NC, her daughters Sherry Mullis of Rockwell and Rebecca (Sissy) Dellinger-Mitchell of Allen, TX. Also surviving are her 11 grandchildren; Michael, Jeannie, Timothy and Ronnie Dellinger, Wayne, Jennifer and Misty Starnes, Jonathan Mullis, Joel and Cheri Dellinger and Jesse White and she was blessed with many, many great-grandchildren.
