Jean Wall Wike

Obituary: Jean Wall Wike, 76, of 305 Glenn Ave., died at CMC-NorthEast in Concord on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013. Jean was born on Sep. 14, 1937 in Alamance Co., NC, the daughter of the late Vergie Wall and the late Carrie Cates Wall. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar F. Wike who died in 1994 and her son, Steven Wike. Mrs. Wike retired from Pillowtex where she was a supervisor in the Towel Packaging Dept. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church, loved flowers and working in her garden. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at Central Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Curtis Parker. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the church before the service. At other times they will be at the residence. Survivors include her 4 daughters, Deborah Cross, Connie Johnson "Derek", Sharon Noblitt "Michael" all of Kannapolis and Karen Rowland "Ricky" of Albemarle, NC; eleven grandchildren; Christa, Carrie, Damien, Jeremy, Jason, Chris, Erika, Stacy, Ricky, Zevuland and Sheena; eleven great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Tommy Wall and Billy Wall and a sister, Pearl Helton.
