Jeanette Lutz Waters

Obituary: Jeanette Lutz Waters, 74 of Kannapolis passed away on June 1, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC. Jeanette was born Dec. 28, 1942 in Maiden, NC a daughter of the late Ray Alfred Lutz and the late Virginia Louise Rudisill Lutz. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. Jeanette had worked for the Baptist Children's Home, the Canteen Service at I.B.M. and U.N.C., Charlotte in food service retiring at 65 years of age. Jeanette dearly loved spending time with her family on the back porch. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 5th at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m., Sunday night, June 4th at Whitley's Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, Jackie W. Waters, Sr. of the home; a son, Jackie Waters, Jr. and spouse, Tracy, a daughter, Pamela Pettigrew and husband, Kevin and six grandchildren; Crystal, Amber, Olivia, Elauna, Donna and Autumn and one great grandchild, Kevin. She is also survived by three sisters, Pat Duncan, Jean Welch and Geneva Flowers.
