Jeffrey Roger “Jeff ” Ferguson , 49, passed away at the beach Friday morning, June 5, 2020, following a period of declining health, with his loving family by his side.

Jeff was born August 19, 1970, in Concord, NC, and graduated from South Rowan High in 1988. An amazing son, brother and uncle, Jeff loved all of his family and friends, and enjoyed the time spent with them.  He enjoyed playing his guitar and loved spending time with his canine companion and best buddy “Tux”.  He was a thoughtful, meticulous man and a wonderful planner.  He was a member of South China Grove Baptist Church. Although in a much better place today, Jeff will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jeff was preceded in death by his dad, Dale “Doodie” Lambert, and a brother, Rodney Brian Ferguson.

Devoted family members include his mother, Ann Powell Lambert; his brother, Kenny Ferguson and wife, Jinger; his nephew, Thomas Ferguson; his nieces, Kaylee, Kendal and Katie Ferguson; and many special family members. Jeff loved each and every one of them.

Graveside services to remember and celebrate Jeff’s life will begin at 11:00 am Friday, June 12th, at Greenlawn Private Cemetery in China Grove, conducted by Pastor Mike Roper.

The family would like to thank Hospice and Palliative Care for the care, concern and love they gave to Jeff and his family.
