Jeffrey Loren Gryder

Obituary: Mr. Jeffrey Loren Gryder, 62, of China Grove went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 3, 2015 after an extended illness. He was born June 12, 1953 in Cabarrus County to James Shelton Gryder and Ora Hatley Gryder. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father. Jeffrey was a man of many talents, he could fix most anything and was extremely gifted. He worked as Director of Engineering for Bob Cats Arena, and part-time at the Warrior Golf Club. He enjoyed yard work along with riding his John Deer tractor with his grandchildren. Jeffrey's greatest love was his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Shelia Collins Gryder, two sons, Clint Gryder of Spencer, Matt Gryder (Heather) of Salisbury, his mother Ora Hatley Gryder of Landis, one brother Brad Gryder (Dawn) of Landis, grandchildren; Rhett and Sarah Gryder. The Gryder Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home. Graveside services will be private.
