Obituary: Jeffrey Brian Miller, Sr., age 47, of Landis, died unexpectedly on Good Friday, March 30, 2018 at his home. His family will receive friends at Whitley's Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 3 and then have a memorial service to celebrate his life at Whitley's Funeral Chapel at 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 4. Jeff was born April 22, 1970 in Catawba Co., a son of Alvin Ray Miller and Linda Houston Perry, both of Hickory. Jeff loved life, listening to music and a good laugh. He loved his family and was very proud of his children. Jeff was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Miller. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Chapman Miller and his son, Jeffrey "JJ" Miller, Jr. both of the home, his daughter, Britney Taylor (Tre Bruinton) of Statesville, his four grandchildren Amirah, Selaina, Rylee and Reya. He is also survived by his father, Alvin Miller (Sherry) and his mother, Linda Perry (Lonnie), all of Hickory, his brothers; Kenny Miller (Jennifer) of Lenoir, Michelle Miller from Hickory and Mark Miller of Conover as well as many adored nieces and nephews.
