Obituary: Jerea Shue Brown passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17th due to complications from diabetes. Jerea was born on March 29, 1961 In Concord, NC, a daughter of Jimmy and Helen Shue. A native Concordian, she was a graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School. She loved all animals, but especially cats and rescued many over the years. She was preceded in death by both her parents. Left to cherish her memory are sisters, Julie Cannon (Barry), Gale Ingram (Mark), and Nikki Robinson and fiancée Bryan Roberts. Nephews Gray Cannon, Forrest Cannon, Kyle Ingram and niece Lyla Ingram. Also her own aunts Vergie Krimminger (Bill), Linda Griffin (Bobby), Judy Starnes, Sylvia Dry, Kathy Smith, Denise Dabbs, and Uncle Lester Shoe (Kay). She will be greatly missed by her best friend since high school, Denise Aldridge. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 22nd at Sharon Baptist Church conducted by Dr. James Strickland. The family receiving from 1-2:00 p.m., before the service. While Jerea loved flowers, a donation to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Dt, Ste 900, Arlington, VA 28202 or to Cabarrus Cares Animal Protection, 36 Union St. S., Concord, NC 28025 in her memory are most appreciated.
