Jeremy Adam Childress

Obituary: Jeremy Adam Childress, 35, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 22, 2016 at his residence. Born March 14, 1981 in Concord, Jeremy was the son of Danny and Robin Baynard Childress. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Hicks and Doris Baynard. A 1999 graduate of A.L. Brown High School, Jeremy furthered his education by receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from UNCC. He was a member of Church of God, was God gifted musically, and enjoyed playing the saxophone and guitar. A loving husband, son, dad, brother and friend, Jeremy had an easy and loving spirit and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, family members left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lorita King Childress; his sons Christian, Wilson and Gabriel; a brother Joshua Childress of Lexington, his uncle Roger Baynard of Sumter, SC and others who loved him dearly. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 26th from 1:00-3:00 pm at Enochville Church of God. Memorial funeral services to remember and celebrate the life of Jeremy will begin at 3:00 in the church, conducted by Rev. Carl Fosdick, pastor.
