Obituary: Jerry Lee Wallace, Jr. "Bo", 43 of Concord died at Huntersville Medical Center in Huntersville, NC on Sep. 6, 2018. Death was unexpected. Jerry was born on Jan. 16, 1975, in Mecklenburg Co., son of the late Jerry Lee Wallace, Sr. and Karen Ruth Hillman Gladden of Concord. Jerry was a 1994 graduate of NW Cabarrus High School, was an avid hunter and fisherman and dearly loved to spend time with his son. He was employed as a foreman with Wallace Brother Construction Company. Jerry loved and lived life to the fullest and was the life of the party. In addition to his father, Jerry is also preceded in death by his father-in-law Jimmy Atwell. In addition to his mother, Karen Gladden (JR), of Concord, Jerry is survived by his wife Angela Atwell Wallace and son, Ross of the home, a brother, J.W. Wallace (Ginger) of Harrisburg, his sister, Stacy Poulos (Andy) of Concord and a number of nieces and nephews; Jason, Chris, Jackie, Christal, Rhys and Ellie and by his Mother-in-law Mary Atwell. Also, by his best friends; Bryson, Darrell and T.J. The service for Jerry will take place at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, Sep. 13, 2018 at Friendship Southern Baptist Church in Concord conducted by Pastor Robert Mayfield and Pastor Jessie Watkins. The family will receive friends at the church from 4:30-6:00 before the service. In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you take a moment to hug your family and friends, or walk in the woods for a moment, an hour or a day. Time waits for no one.
