Jerry Lee Wensil

Jerry Lee Wensil, 83 years old, of Kannapolis, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 17, 2022.  Jerry was born on February 16, 1939, in Cabarrus County to the late A.C. and Minnie Lorene Childress Wensil.

In his younger years, Jerry enjoyed playing golf.  He was a member of the Oasis Shriners and an over 50-year member of the Cannon Memorial Masonic Lodge 626.

Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Valta Rae Davis Wensil in 2018.  Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Stephanie Wensil; his sons, Dr. Tommy Wensil and his wife Glena, Douglas Wensil, and Christopher Wensil; his sister, Sylvia McLendon, and her husband Mac; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Park, where Jerry will be laid to rest with his wife.
