Jesse Leazer

Obituary: Jesse Lee Leazer, 47, of Mooresville, NC went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2017 at his residence following a period of declining health. Death was unexpected. Jeese was born January 5, 1970 in Rowan County, NC a son of Jerry Lee Leazer and Judy Fowler Leazer. He was a 1988 graduate of South Rowan High School and an honor graduate of UNC-Charlotte where he received his bachelor's degree. He worked for Freightliner for ten years prior to his retirement due to ill health. He attended Living Waters Church of God and enjoyed electronic and computers. In addition to his parents he is survived by one daughter, Miranda Leazer and Christian Wooten both of Monroe, and one granddaughter, Remi Opal Wooten, brother, Jacob (Sue) Leazer of Mooresville, niece and nephew, Kaylee and Levi Leazer, his very best friend Melton Lucas, and many beloved aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 7, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Chapel conducted by Pastor Jeff Grubbs. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Whitley's Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Leazer.
