With deepest sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of Jesse Regrut, 26, fiance, son, grandson, little brother, big brother, uncle, family member and friend, on August 22, 2023.
Jesse’s first love was family, followed by anything with wheels; tricycles, skateboards, cars and trucks. He was a cross-country runner, an artist, played basketball and football.
He found his love of wheels again in his car club family, auto body work and airplane body work, his favorite art form. But that all came second to the true of his life, Hadley.
Jesse lived life fiercely, with passion and wanting to learn everything. He was funny, forever the jokester. He was brave and caring, soft and compassionate. So much so, that he chose to be a donor. Giving of himself even in death.
There are many words to be said about Jesse, but “missed greatly” says it best. He will forever be in our hearts. He was a beautiful soul.
Preceding Jesse in passing were his light and love, Hadley Anderson; his grandfathers, John Regrut, Harold McManus and Leonard Hunter; and uncle, James (Scooter) Winecoff.
He will be lovingly and forever remembered by his mother and step-father, Susan Winecoff McManus and Johnathan McManus; father and step-mother, Michael and Pamela Regrut; his siblings, Alicia Regrut (Jessie Fowler), John-Michael Regrut (Brittany Bradford), Jeremiah Winecoff (Sophie Borth), Chelsea McManus (Emily Wetzell) and Lerrah McManus; his grandparents, Julia Regrut, Glenda Hunter and Patricia McManus, nieces and nephews, Thorn Fowler, Savannah Fowler, Conner Fowler and Aubree Bradford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
“he will be strong enough to know when he is weak, and brave enough to face himself when he is afraid; will be proud and unbending in honest defeat, and humble and gentle in victory”
A memorial service to remember and celebrate Jesse’s life will be held and announced in the near future.
