Jesse Ray Rollins, 31, of Kannapolis, left this world all too soon on Saturday, April 30, 2022 after a tragic automobile accident.
Jesse was born on August 9, 1990 in Mecklenburg County to the late Tommy Ray Rollins and Amanda Rae Morris, who survives.
Jesse loved spending time outside doing yardwork or taking fishing trips with his Pawpaw Mike. He was a huge Patriots fan and his favorite player was Tom Brady. He dearly loved his family, but he especially loved his dog, a Pitbull mix named Layla. His second family was his work family at Jim ‘N Nicks BBQ where he enjoyed working the past three years. His memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew him forever.
Those left to cherish his memory include his grandmother, Barbara (Pawpaw Mike) Waddell; grandfather, CJ Morris; mother, Amanda Rae Morris (Greg Robinson); uncles, Chris Morris and Josh Morris; cousins, Kristian (Alley) Morris, Hoke (Brianna) Morris, and Casey (Hannah) Morris.
The family will receive friends at Whitley’s Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022. A memorial service celebrating Jesse’s life will follow and begin at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Whitley’s Funeral Home. Inurnment will immediately follow the service in the Chapel Mausoleum of Carolina Memorial Park.
