Jessie Faye Bruce

Obituary: Jessie Faye Davis Bruce, 77 of Concord, NC passed away at Universal Healthcare & Rehab of Concord on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018. Death was unexpected. Faye was born in Caldwell Co., NC on Nov. 16, 1940, daughter of the late Odell and Annie Mae Franklin Davis. Faye was a LPN working at the Brian Center and up until her health was failing, she was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Concord. Faye is survived by her daughter, Amy Britt Hayes (Charlie) and a granddaughter, Lana Hayes of Concord. A memorial service will take place at New Hope Baptist on Thursday, Jan. 25th at 7:00 pm conducted by Rev. Roger Bostic. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. before the service. Burial will take place at a later date.
