Jevin Bourne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jevin Bourne, on September 22, 2024, at 36 years old. Born on July 9th, 1988, in Bremerton, Washington, son to Michael Robert and Wendi Louann Melanson Goodwin. He is proceeded in death by his mother (Wendi) and maternal grandparents, Louis and Barbara Melanson and Uncle Stephen Melanson, and paternal grandparent Robert Bourne, and great grandparents Mae & Donald Scott.

Jevin will be remembered for his gentle nature, kind soul, huge heart and tendency to wrap those dear to him in the warmest bear hugs. Jevin was endlessly proud of his precious sons, Eli and Lincoln, whom were openly regarded as the greatest joys of his life. Lovingly referred to as Puffin (an endearing childhood nickname), Jevin, found solace in music and was a self-taught talent. A devoted and genuine momma’s boy, his loved ones find peace in Jevin being reunited with his beloved mother, Wendi.

Family members left to cherish his life are his sons Eli (Teri Pina) and Lincoln (Lauren Morrison), dad and stepmom, Micheal & Debra Bourne; stepdad Jon Goodwin, sister Crystal Wilson (Justin Wilson & Jeff Friday), twin step brothers Chase (Sabrina) & Hunter (Natalie) Bourne, step sisters Christina Blair & Emlyn Fregoso, nephews Lily, Presley, Sawyer & River (Crystal), Sammy & Wyatt (Emlyn), Collin & Jonathon (Christina), grandparents Ruby & Mark Schneider, step grandparents Tom & Mary Lynn Kelly, Aunt Lori Melanson, Aunt/Uncles Deloris & John Bilyk, Liz & Jeff Bouma, Step Aunt/Uncle Cindy & Rob Hahn, cousins, Stephen & Mathew Melanson, Lea, Lindsay & Lauren Bouma, step cousins Kayla Hahn Colson (Justin), Savannah Hahn Davis (Jacob), Cassidy Hahn Benner (Keenan), and great step cousins Leo, Luca & Maddox Colson, Marigold & Ruthie Davis.
