Jim St. John

Obituary: James (Jim) Lester St. John, 70, of Kannapolis passed away March 2, 2017. He was born January 12, 1947 in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Lester Clay St. John and Wilma Louise Linker St. John. James retired from Rack Room Shoes where he worked in the I.T. Department for many years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church officiated by Rev. John Futterer. The family will receive friends prior from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Salisbury. He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Gaye" Blackwelder St. John, sister, Jeanie Johnson, nephew Josh Johnson, and great nephew, Evan Johnson.
