Jimmy Eugene Hampton, 75, of Kannapolis, passed away July 5, 2022 at Glenn Kiser Hospice House.
He was born September 16, 1946 in Cabarrus Co. to the late Carl Wesley Hampton and Velma Agnes Stirewalt Hampton.
Jimmy worked at Atrium Health Cabarrus till retirement, he enjoyed feeding birds and watching them at the feeders, he also took care of his mom Velma till her passing in August, jimmy enjoyed spending time with family also.
He was preceded in death by his mother Velma Hampton, nephew David Beaver, niece, Carol Lumsden.
Those left to cherish his memory, nephew Dennis Beaver (Elizabeth Harrington), and two great nieces Malori Harrington, and Amber Hoke.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 12 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11AM at Whitley's Funeral Home.
