Jimmy Lamar Hart

Jimmy Lamar Hart, 79, of Kannapolis, passed away July 26, 2022 at his home.
He was born March 10, 1943 in Cabarrus co to the late Bethel Garnette Hart and Bertha May Fitzpatrick.

Jimmy was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked for Cannon Mills until his retirement, when he became a professional loafer for the last 17 years. He enjoyed walking the loop every day, he was a motorcycle rider and enjoyed taking the rail buggy out for a ride, he liked going to car shows and enjoyed Facebook, he never met a stranger, most of all he loved his family.

He was preceded in death by one sister Linda Pajerski.

Those left to cherish his memory, his son Scott Hart (Kristen) of Salisbury, sister Shirley Nance of Salisbury, one grandson Dalton Hart (Seena) of Richmond, VA.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Friday, July 29, 2022 at Whitley's Funeral Home.

A private burial for family and close friends will be held at a later date at the Salisbury National Cemetery with April Baucom officiating and also Military Honors.
