Obituary: Jimmy J. O'Leary, 61, of Kannapolis, passed away, Saturday, October 13, 2018, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, October 18 at Whitley's Funeral Home. He was born April 23, 1957 in Brooklyn, NY. Jimmy worked at Phillip-Morris for six years before his retirement. He enjoyed baking cakes especially cheese cakes, he also enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching the Panthers play. Jimmy also loved his two yorkie's Cody and Zoey. Those left to cherish his memory; his wife of 25 years Cynthia O'Leary, one son James O'Leary (Christina) of New York, two step sons, Brian Evans (Tina) of Florida, Jason Evans of Concord, one brother, Robert O'Leary of Florida. Also surviving his favorite sister-in-Law Susan Norman Baker, Tommy and Lynn Poole, and Fred and Clarice Pool, his nephews, Steven Baker (Dannilee) of Charlotte, Kyle Baker (Amanda) of Lexington, and his sweet great niece Carly whom he adored.
