Jimmy Harold Puckett

James “Jimmy” Harold Puckett, 80 years old, of China Grove, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 14, 2022.  Jimmy was born in Virginia on March 17, 1942 to the late Robert and Vera Amburgy Puckett.

Jimmy proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Air Force.  He retired from Fieldcrest Cannon after 30 years working for the company.  Jimmy loved cars, the more chrome the better, he was a proud husband, father, and grandfather, and a devoted Christian man of faith and was a member of Enochville Church of God.

Jimmy was predeceased by his first wife, Sandra Gaultney Puckett.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Fran Burgess Puckett; his son, Chris Puckett and his wife Heather; his step-daughter, Angie Brown and her fiancé Scott Yow; his grandchildren, Carter and Caroline Puckett and his step-grandson, T.D. Brown.

A memorial service will take place on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 3pm at Enochville Church of God, 199 N. Enochville Ave. Kannapolis, officiated by Rev. Carl Fosdick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Jimmy’s memory to either Tucker Hospice House or Enochville Church of God.
