Obituary: JoAnn Daniels St. John, age 76, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Universal Healthcare, Concord, NC She was born January 17, 1938 in Cabarrus County, NC, the daughter of the late Henry Shomer Daniels and Delia Mae Daniels. JoAnn was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a passion for art and was a former member of the Cabarrus County Art Guild. She loved the Lord with all of her heart. She enjoyed people, loved to talk, and never met a stranger. The funeral service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. William High. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Survivors include three daughters, Sherrie Weast Stancil & husband, Eric; Tammy Weast Honeycutt & husband, Larry; and Donna Weast Hanna & husband, Ron; five grandchildren, Jamie Stegall, Jason Stegall, Mindy Campbell, Daniel Honeycutt, and Gavin Hatley; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
