Joel Christopher “Chris” Trull, 50, of Salisbury went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at his residence. Death was unexpected.
Chris was born June 10, 1970 in Caldwell County, NC a son of Myra Honeycutt Trull of Kannapolis and the late Jerry Carl Trull.
Family members left to cherish his memory; in addition to his mother, are two daughters, Lacey Swart and husband Andrew of Kannapolis, and Carley Trull of Winston-Salem.
He is also survived by a granddaughter, Eleanor Swart of Kannapolis and a grandson expected to enter this life shortly, Samuel Hayes Swart. A fiancé’ Lori P. Scercy of Kannapolis also survives.
Chris was a 1988 graduate of South Rowan High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Western Carolina University. He had been employed with J. A. Fisher Construction Company as an estimator and salesman. He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church in Kannapolis. He will be remembered as a generous, loving and kind man.
Funeral services to celebrate his life will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 3, 2021 at Bethpage United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Sam Lewis and Rev. Dr. Mark Vickers. The family will receive friends at the church Monday 12:30 P.M.-2:00 P.M.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Midway United Methodist Church, 708 Main Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081 or to Bethpage United Methodist Church, 109 Fellowship Avenue, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
