John Bipere

Obituary: John Joseph Bipere, 93, of Kannapolis died November 25, 2014. He was born June 25, 1921 in Norfolk County, Virginia, the son of the late Domick Bipere and Mary Malida Bipere both from Italy. He moved to Kannapolis in 1958. Hee was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice K. Bipere. John served in World War II. He retired from Cannon Mills in 1983 from the Bleachery Dept. He worked part-time for Food Lion and Beasley-Cross Chevrolet. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday Nov. 28, 2014 at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. R.J. Hammond. He is survived by his step-daughter, Celia A. Boyd (George), step-son, Junior L. Hall, 6 step- grandchildren, James "Shike" Burris, Lisa B. Lackey, Robert C. Burris, Patrick W. Burris, Angela H.
