John Richard James, Jr.

Obituary: John Richard James Jr. , 40, of Locust, NC died Nov. 2, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. He was born November 3, 1968 in Cabarrus County the son of John Richard James Sr. of Locust and the late Linda Maxine Hallman James. He was a former truck driver and mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. A funeral service will be 5:30 PM Thursday at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel officiated by Rev. John Harker. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:30 Thursday in the Annex Chapel. In addition to his father, he is survived by two daughters, Teka Kristine James and Haleigh C. Helms, four sisters Lisa Woodward, Tresa Green, Melinda Kiser, and Larisa James and a numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
