John Pruitt Jordan

John Pruitt Jordan, 79, of Concord passed away on August 14, 2021. He was born February 23, 1942 in Union County, a son of the late Rufus Lee Jordan and Alma Daisy Jordan. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Delores Helms Jordan.

John enjoyed golfing, collecting watches, a good cup of coffee and spending time with family.  He was a hardworking man who always had a handkerchief, dapper outfit and polished shoes.  Before retirement, he worked with Polychrome, working as a salesman selling printing products and equipment.  He taught his family to love the sand, ocean and sunshine.

A private service was held for John at Carolina Memorial Park.   A special thanks to his wife, Shirley, who cared for him so diligently in his last months of life.  A very special thank you to his dermatologist, William D. Hoover, Jr. M.D., for the many years of care.

He is survived by wife, Shirley Jordan; daughters, Michelle Jordan Kennerly (Mike) and sons Jordan, Aaron and Andrew, Jennifer Langley (David), and son, Maddox and only sweet girl in the family, Rhylann.
