John Jay Ontko

Obituary: Kannapolis, N.C. John Jay Ontko, age 72 ,of Kannapolis died Thursday Dec. 3, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Ontko was born Aug. 27, 1937 in Delmont County, Ohio to the Late James J. Ontko and the late Kathryn Barker Ontko. He was a minister of the Gospel with the Jehovah's Witness. A memorial service will be held at the Jehovah's Witnesses Assembly Hall 3401 Old Concord Rd. Salisbury, 7:30 P.M. Sunday Dec. 3, 2009. The family will see friends after the service. Mr. Ontko is survived by his wife Johnna Ontko of the home. One son Gregory Mark Ontko of New York. Two daughters, Beth Ontko Rice and Stephanie Ontko Igrace both of Fla. Three Grand Daughters also survive. Also survived by a sister, Connie Tanner of Fla.
