John Philip Peterman

Obituary: Dr. John Philip Peterman, 80, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at home. Born on September 30, 1937, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Peterman. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Fr. Charles O. Peterman and Denis A. Peterman. He is survived by his loving family; his wife of 55 happy years, Louanne Peterman; son and daughter-in-law, Jaye Peterman and Jennifer Reese; daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Amy Peterman & Kevin Hancock; grandchildren, Tori Hancock and Michael Hancock; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Hank Campbell, and many beloved nieces and nephews. For 42 years, John was a family dentist in Catasauqua, PA. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Catasauqua Public Library and of the Suburban North Family YMCA. He was a member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church, Concord, NC, where funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 13th.
