Obituary: John Taylor Poole, age 61, of 250 Wal-hollow Lane, Mooresville died April 10, 2010 in Crystal River, Florida. His death was unexpected. A life Celebration will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, April 24 at South China Grove Church of God Fellowship Hall, 163 3rd Ave. China Grove 28023, with Rev. Joyce Miles officiating. John, affectionately known as "Tater-Bug" to his family was born February 24, 1949 in Cabarrus Co. to the late Dorris E. Poole and Frances Brown Poole of Kannapolis. He was from Cabarrus Co., but he enjoyed living in Florida for over 20 years. He loved to do anything he could for anyone he could. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his 3 brothers; Jerry E. Poole (Linda) of Seneca, SC, Billy Ray Poole (Mary) of Salisbury and Terry Lynn Poole of West Cliff CO, his 2 sisters, Mary Frances Poole Ziegler (Mark)of China Grove and Donna Poole McCall (Frank) of Kannapolis. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, 23 great-nieces and nephews and 2 great-great-nieces and nephews. "Tater-Bug" will be dearly missed.
