John Robert Bobby Sechler

Obituary: John Robert Sechler (Bobby), 59, of China Grove, NC died at CMC-NE in Concord on Friday, April 8, 2016. Bobby was born on September 11, 1956 in Iredell Co, NC, the son of Willie Mae Walters Sechler of China Grove and the late Roy John Sechler. He was a 1975 graduate of South Rowan High School, last employed as a truck driver with Dixie Trucking Co. and of the Baptist Faith. Bobby loved to share the bounty of his vegetables from his garden with family and friends. He truly loved gardening and tractors. He also cherished his grandchildren and adored his mother who he visited every day and often two times a day if he was able. In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by his wife, Kim Love Sechler of the home, two sons; Chris Sechler (Shannon) and Craig Sechler (Carrie) all of China Grove, six grandchildren; Tyler, Isaiah, Jackson, Jordan, Christopher and Dakota, and a sister; Kathy Sechler of China Grove. The service for Mr. Sechler will take place at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday April 12, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Brother Terry Deitz. The family will receive friends at Whitley's from 10 to 11:30a.m. before the service. At other times they will be at the family home.
