Johnny M. Odum

Obituary: Johnny M. Odum, 78, of Kannapolis, died Friday April 6, 2012 after a period of declining health. Mr. Odum was born on April 22, 1933 in Onslow County, NC, a son of the late Charlie and Annie Frazier Odum. He retired from Johnny Sessa Trucking and had been employed as a truck driver for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Arlene Kinney Odum of the home, a daughter, Sherry Steger of the home, two sons, Terry Lee Bost (Linda) of Union, MO., Gerry Dean Bost (Tracey) of Coral Springs, FL., a sister, Elizabeth Saul of North Carolina, 12 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date for Mr. Odum. The family suggest memorials be sent to Five Oaks Manor, 413 Winecoff School Rd., Concord, NC, 28027.
