Joseph Cromer

Obituary: Joseph O'Neal Cromer, 59, of China Grove passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013. He was born November 26, 1953 in Franklin County, Georgia. He was the son of Cathryn Fowler Cromer of Salisbury and the late Joseph Clarence Cromer. He was employed with Norandal in Salisbury. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He attended Central Baptist Church in Kannapolis. He was also a Mason. He was a family man enjoying spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Storey Cromer, three children; Joseph Christian "Chris" Cromer and wife Amanda of Davidson, Brittany Cromer Wise and husband, Jason of Kannapolis, Alyssa Cromer Ward and husband, Zach of Kannapolis, seven grandchildren; Joseph Landon Cromer, Grayson Cole Cromer, Karrigan Faith Cromer, Kinley Christian Cromer, Jayleigh Austyn Wise, Jackson Paul Wise and Hallie Brooke Ward, three sisters, Tina Sellers, Connie Miles and Camilla Collins. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Central Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Curtis Parker. Burial will follow at National Cemetery in Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 AM prior at church. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 1810 Moose Rd., Kannapolis, NC 28083.
