Joseph "Joey" Bullock

Joseph “Joey” Edwin Bullock Jr., 65, of Kannapolis passed away January 3, 2024. He was born February 28, 1958 in Clinton, NC, a son of Barbara Thompson Bullock of Lumberton and the late Joseph Edwin Bullock, Sr.

Joey was a graduate of Wake Forest University. He then was the strength coach at Wake Forest for 11 years. He then worked at 24 Hour Gym in California for 22 years as a personal trainer. Joey loved watching all types of sports and was a huge Demon Deacon fan. Joey was a people person and will be missed by many. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Kannapolis.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 7, 2024 at First Baptist Church, 101 N. Main Street, Kannapolis officiated by Dr. Thomas Cabaniss. His family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 prior at the church. Burial will be later at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CtmDOH2fTk

In addition to his mother, Joey is survived by daughters, Hannah Bullock and Hillary Bullock and fiancé, Susie Barringer.
