Joshua Dale Ussery

Joshua Dale Ussery, 40, of Concord went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Atrium Health Northeast, Concord. Death was unexpected.

Joshua was born April 29, 1983 in Cabarrus County, NC a son of Michael Delane Ussery and Teresa Lynn Brown Tucker, both of Concord. He was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Tucker.

Family members left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents include three sons; Kenly Ussery of Myrtle Beach, Andrew and Ayden Baucom of Albemarle, a daughter, Avelynn Baucom of Albemarle, and a brother, Shane Ussery and wife Kimberly of Concord.

Joshua was a 2002 graduate of Central Cabarrus High School. He was a tradesman who was able to build and fix anything. He enjoyed shooting pool. He was a friend to everyone he met.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 11, 2023 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Dennis Craft. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
