Joy Childers Belk

Obituary: Joy Elizabeth Childers Belk, 54, of Kannapolis passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in Little River, SC. She was born March 10, 1964 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of Colleen Elizabeth Wall Childers and the late Clifford Childers. Joy was employed in accounting with Rack Room Shoes for many years. She was a faithful member of Jackson Park United Methodist where she had sang in the choir and praise team for many years. Joy loved all children, especially her adopted children and grandbabies. A celebration of Joy's life will be at 4:00 PM Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 at Jackson Park United Methodist Church officiated by Dr. Greg Gordon. Her family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:45 PM prior in the church gymnatorium. In addition to her mother, Joy is survived by her husband, Noel Belk, adopted children, Josh, Brandon, Whitney, Johnathan, grandbabies, Kate, Bentley, William, Henry, and brother, Kent Childers (Vickie).
