Obituary: Joyce Mullis Beckham, 55, of Kannapolis died March 4, 2012. She was born March 30, 1956 in Union County, the daughter Effie Goode Mullis of Kannapolis and the late Sam Mullis. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 24, 2012 at New Hope Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Roger Bostic. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Tabatha Poulson and Amanda Oty, four grandchildren, five brothers, four sisters and a dedicated friend, Marsha Burch.
