Joyce Irene Kennerly

Joyce Irene Kennerly, 80, of Kannapolis, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Joyce was born on January 6, 1945, in Iredell County. She was a cherished daughter of the late Charlie Elbertis Kennerly and Deemie Irene Allman Kennerly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Kennerly.

Joyce spent her career employed at Cannon Mills in the sheet department. She loved to travel, as long as her health permitted. Joyce also loved going to fish camps to enjoy a good meal. She found comfort and joy in gospel music, whether singing in church or humming a favorite hymn at home.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Ricky L. Kennerly (Sherry); and her loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, January 27, 2025, at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove with Rev. Joel Ervin.
