Obituary: Joyce Marie Teal age 73 died Tuesday Feb 21, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital Charlotte. Funeral services will be Saturday Feb. 25, 2012 at 1:00 PM held at St Paul's United Church of Christ Enochville with the Rev. Phred Causey in charge. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 7; 00 to 9: 00 PM Friday Feb. 24, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home. Mrs. Teal was born in Rowan County to the late Mack A. Gallamore and the late Mary Honeycutt Gallamore Clark. She was educated in the Rowan County Schools. She worked at Terry Products for 24 years retiring as a supervisor .Mrs. Teal was a member of St Paul's United Church of Christ a church she dearly loved. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and Great grandmother. Joyce is survived by her husband of 56 years Billy Teal of the home; two daughters, Robin Marie Teal of the home and Judy Peacock and husband Terry of Mooresville; two Sons Jeffery Teal and wife Tammy of Kannapolis and Rocky Teal and wife Betty Jo of Oak Island N.C. Three Brothers, Buddy Gallamore of Anna Texas, Mike Gallamore of Indiana, and Matthew Gallamore of Greer S.C. Her step mother Pauline Gallamore of Greer S.C. Also eight grand children Brandy B. Teal, Rocky Teal Jr., Justin Peacock, Jordan Peacock, Jenna Peacock, Danny Troutman, Aaron Troutman, and Tiffany Troutman and her special dog Angel.
