Joyce Dunlap Williams

Obituary: Joyce Williams, 70 of Kannapolis passed away Saturday September 1, 2012 at CMC Northeast. Mom was born June 5, 1942 to the late Tracy C. Dunlap Sr. (wife Jean) and the late Geneva Allman Dunlap. She resided at 1717 Valwood St., Kannapolis, NC 28083. She retired from CMC Northeast after many years of service there. She was a member of the Concord Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mom was a loving wife, mother and devoted grandmother. Her greatest joy was playing with her grandbabies and watching them grow up. She will be sorely missed by all. She is survived by her husband of 28 years Robert Edward Williams, two daughters Pamela Lowder Hampton of Kannapolis and Julie Mattern and husband, Doug of Concord, one grandson Matthew B. Lowder and wife, Kayla of Kannapolis and four great-grandchildren; Payton, Matthew II, Maddison and Mason Lowder. She is also survived by one sister; Peggy M. Dunlap and two brothers; Tracy C. Dunlap Jr. and Thomas C. Dunlap. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the National Kidney Foundation.
