Obituary: Deputy John Thomas Isenhour, 38, of Cooleemee died in the line of duty on September 28, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born December 29, 1977 in Rowan County, the son of Charles Thomas Isenhour. J.T. was a Deputy Sheriff with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Dept. He was a veteran of the US Marines Corps where he served 17 years. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and playing lacrosse. He also enjoyed playing video games. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the National Cemetery in Salisbury. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Nanette Morgan Isenhour, children, Logen Morgan, Willow Isenhour, step children, Jessica Morgan, Dylan Chapman, Spencer Chapman, Brooklyn Morgan, two grandchildren, Katelynn and Carly, brother, Robert Charles Isenhour, half- sister, Laura Isenhour.
